Okay, now they literally destroyed him. The shot was like the final destruction of what Chuck Bass was so far. They changed into another person too soon for people to accept, and this is not a good example of writing a character.
Despite this, Chuck is still my favorite. It doesn’t matter how screwed he is, he’ll always be in the show the closest to me, in a way I can’t explain.
And if someone hates him, well… What can I say to you? You can’t love everyone. He’ll always be the most complex character on the show. Maybe you just hate him because you didn’t understand his personality, I really don’t know
Okay, we don’t know if what you see is what you’ll get, so calm down.
Like I mentioned here: What if Blair doesn’t show, he comes back in his suite all sad and Jenny is there telling him she failed with her plan of breaking Nate and Serena up and tries to comfort him and then they kissed, and…? *vomit*
Other option: maybe they only sleep together (no sex implied) and they make us believe they did, instead?
Because, blabz words,
#Chuck & #Blair breakup will be bad. #Blair will find out something, thanks to #Dan. #GossipGirl
Knowing Penn and Blake were there that day they shoot the ESB scene, what if Dan walks into Chuck’s suite after this bed thing and he believes that Jenny and Chuck slept together and tells Blair before she takes the elevator to go up?
Like EW titled last year: LOVE, LUST, or BUST?
I don’t want to be pessimistic but I’ve got the feeling that this year we, chair fans, won’t have our happy ending.
you can see a – probably – drunk or high Chuck Bass in his Hotel Room with two clearly sluts.
Point two, you see Chuck kind of plotting with Jenny, which is strange, but so Chuck Bass season 1 – 2.
What’s happening?
Okay, I’d say that this return to the glorious origins likes me.
Don’t misunderstand me now, I don’t like the fact that he and Blair have broken up, but Chuck needs to become again what he was before of this season. The ghost of Bart Bass in episode 3×12 was right. Chuck Bass softened a lot, but not because he told Blair his feelings.
He softened because IMO the writers don’t have an idea of how writing his character ‘in a relationship’ so they ruined him, confined him as a background sometimes, making him appear like a fool boy, or the moral figure of the situation (that looked so like he was already in his 40s rather than 19). They really HAVE NO IDEA of how the character they have created should have been improved and this disappoints me a lot.
Going back to the theme of this blog post, I’m just hoping this Chuck we see in this promo would be the real one – or almost – again. After all, this season 1 Chuck was the one who took ours heart in the first place.
I’m still feeling he still loves Blair after all, but I think all this ‘Hello 16yrs old Chuck” happens after Blair maybe says she can’t forgive him in episode 3×18, which airs tonight in Canada. We’ll see tomorrow.
I carry the things that remind me of you
In loving memory of
The one that was so true
Your were as kind as you could be
And even though you’re gone
You still mean the world to me
Yes, yes, yes.
